United have been on a dismal run of form this season and have only won three of their fixtures this season, one of which was a 7-0 thumping of Barnsley. The Red Devils have subsequently been reported as considering ten Hag's future, with this weekend's fixture against Aston Villa potentially defining for his reign.

It has been reported that INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have given Ten Hag one more game to sort out the current mess and try to prove that he deserves to stay at Old Trafford despite the team's shockingly poor form. However, ten Hag himself has suggested that despite all the rumours, he still has the backing from the club's top brass.
WHAT TEN HAG SAID
Speaking to the media, ten Hag addressed the rumours and said: "I’m not thinking about such issues because that is not a topic.
"We are in there together – the ownership, the leadership team, the staff. I appointed a new staff, we bought, again, new young players and we have to integrate them.
"There are some more areas where we will improve, definitely, and then this team can grow and improve. Then we will see where we will end in the end of the season."
