The best Ligue 1 players have been released by EA Sports ahead of the release of FIFA 23 at the end of the month.
It is almost time for the latest iteration of the most popular sports video game franchise.
FIFA players will be able to get their hands on the new game with all its updated features on Friday, September 30.
The latest player ratings to be released are those of the stars of Ligue 1. Here are the 15 best players in the French top flight, according to the new FIFA 23 ratings.

The first player on this list is Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes. He has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers in Europe in the last few years and he has retained his 82 rating from FIFA 22.

Like Lopes, Kevin Volland has also been given an 82 rating on FIFA 23. Although, considering he got nine goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 last term, he might feel aggrieved that his rating has been reduced by one.

In the last of the 82-rated players in Ligue 1, Dimitri Payet has received a boost of two ratings from FIFA 22. That is because he was excellent for Marseille last season with 15 goals and 13 assists across all competitions to help them back into the Champions League.

It cause some confusion in the summer when Leicester allowed Kasper Schmeichel to leave for a nominal fee. Nice were the side happy to pay for the veteran goalkeeper but he hasn't quite had the desired effect so far. He was 85-rated in FIFA 22 so it's a two-rating decrease for him.
