The Ligue 1 side are celebrating their 80th birthday this year and before their league match with Rennes on Sunday, a gigantic tifo – an elaborate organised display performed by supporters at a game – was unveiled at Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Past and present players were included.

David is arguably Lille's best player these days and former winger Hazard is one of their all-time greats. On Sunday, Edon Zhegrova scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Rennes, a result that sent them fourth in Ligue 1.

Belgium Hazard, who retired from football just over a year ago, began his career at Lille and went onto score 50 goals in 194 matches for the French side. He then moved to Chelsea in 2012 and the rest is history.

While Hazard is retired, David's Lille take on Bologna in their next Champions League fixture on Wednesday, before travelling to Montpellier next Sunday in Ligue 1.
