The ambitious MLS outfit have set their sights on the 21-year-old midfielder, who is the son of former Real Madrid and AC Milan star Fernando Redondo. According to the , a formal offer will be tabled to Argentinos Juniors for the highly-rated youngster.

If Redondo can be acquired, as cover for injured fellow countryman Facundo Farias, then he could occupy one of three U22 Initiative spots in Inter Miami’s squad. If that were to be the case, then only $200,000 of his salary would count towards the club’s cap.
