reported earlier this month that a delegation from Dortmund arrived in England to hold transfer talks with Sunderland and Bellingham. But the now reports that Dortmund could face competition from Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt, who are also keen on signing the midfielder this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt will have an advantage in the transfer race if they manage to get a point in their final game of the 2024-25 campaign against SC Freiburg on Saturday and secure a slot in the Champions League next season. Also, if Bellingham moves to Frankfurt, he will avoid comparisons with his elder brother Jude, who spent three glorious seasons at Dortmund before heading to Real Madrid in 2023.
