Al-Hilal secured the crown at the expense of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr side with three games to spare courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Al-Hazm, in which Aleksandar Mitrovic bagged a brace. After the game, Neymar celebrated on the field with his baby daughter and then in the dressing room with the players.

Neymar has missed most of the season after suffering a serious knee injury with Brazil against Uruguay last October. He is nearing a return but will play no part in Al-Hilal's remaining fixtures or in this summer's Copa America. The 32-year-old superstar made only three appearances in the Saudi top flight before being condemned to the treatment table, registering two assists in that time.
DID YOU KNOW?
Al-Hilal are still unbeaten in the Saudi Pro League this season with a record of 29 wins from 31 matches. The 1-1 draw with Damac in September was the last time Jorge Jesus' side dropped points and the boss has seen four players register 10 or more goals in Mitrovic (26), Malcom (14), Salem Al-Dawsari (13) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (11).

With his Copa America dream officially over and an 11th career league title in the bag, the coming months for Neymar will be focused solely on returning to peak fitness ahead of Al-Hilal's 2024-25 campaign. If he can rediscover anything close to his best form, the Brazilian should take the Saudi Pro League by storm – like Ronaldo has at Al-Nassr.
